40 years ago that Acatauassú Fernando Nunes (Pictured with his wife Mrs. Grace and her daughter Ana Teresa) acquired the Hacienda San Joaquin, which name was later changed to Fazenda Sanjo. In this enchanted piece of land was created when a large herd of buffalo and countless horses.
For many years was a dream of Fernando (now 80 years) to open the gates to welcome visitors. Finally in 2001 the Farm Sanjo began to receive tourists. Today Sanjo Farm welcomes tourists from around the world and is a reference in tourism on the island of Marajó, being praised by magazines and all those who visit.
Acatauassu Currently Ana Tereza Nunes continues with the dream of Ferdinand, receiving tourists in the form professional, but never forgetting the familiar warmth in receiving them.
'll here a tribute of recognition to the entrepreneur and visionary dreamer.
So on behalf of all those who visited the farm and were enchanted by the beauties of this piece of Marajó Island, I wish to tell.
